Kosin Music Therapy Association, President Ahn Min, was selected as 2019 Support Project for Culture and Arts for the Disable which was organized by the Korea Disability Arts and Culture Center under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The title of the selected project is “A Study on the Strategy of Voice Support for Music Braille for the Blind,” and will be supported with a total of 22 million won as research funds for eight months from April to November this year.
The Korea Disability Arts and Culture Center supports the creative activities and entertainments of disabled artists and organizations. The field that Kosin Music Therapy Association was selected is a research and development project for the arts education for the disabled to support cultural arts education programs.
Kosin Music Therapy Association was established in December 2017 with the alumni and the current students of the university as the key members for the development of domestic music therapy. They carry out systematic, practical academic and educational role, such as Interdisciplinary information exchange, academic research and publication, qualification operations and management, supervision of clinical training social contribution activities. They are hoping that the selection of the project will be a stepping stone to a new leap in serving the community by releasing music therapists based on a Christian worldview.
